Dr Ronaldo Piovezan
Geriatrician
Dr Ronaldo Piovezan has over 18 years of clinical experience and is trained in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Nutritional Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. His expertise has led to the publication of several peer-reviewed scientific articles, resulting in over 650 citations, which have contributed to the understanding of the relationship between sleep and ageing.
Dr. Piovezan's experience extends beyond clinical practice. He has served as a teaching assistant at Harvard Medical School/Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, developed National Clinical Protocols and Therapeutic Guidelines of the Ministry of Health in Brazil, and held a position as an Academic Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Sao Paulo.
Currently, Dr. Piovezan serves as a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide in Australia and is involved in quality improvement activities at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is committed to interdisciplinary collaborations with diverse and multicultural groups to produce and disseminate knowledge, foster education, and benefit the ageing population both locally and worldwide.
