Dr Hannah Brownstein

Dr Hannah Brownstein is a specialist Geriatrician with 10 years’ experience in healthcare. Her passion for Geriatric Medicine stems from her close relationship with her grandmother, who instilled the pillars of healthy aging; social connection, physical and mental activity, nutrition, and patient centred care. Her experience with her grandmother gives a personal insight into how important family is for keeping Older Persons’ healthy. 

Hannah currently lives in Bendigo, Victoria, but completed her training in Metropolitan Melbourne. She grew up in country Victoria, and as such understands how distance can impact access to healthcare, and the nuances of isolated communities. Living and working in both the city and the country has given Hannah the ability to connect to a wide variety of backgrounds and therefore implement quality person focused care.
