Dr Elhassan Elabbas

Dr Elhassan Elabbas is a a dual-trained Physician with FRACP in Geriatric and General Medicine with over 14 years of clinical training and experience in Australia. He is also a member of Royal collage of physician in UK.

Dr Elabbas has a broad experience managing complex patients in community, inpatient, metropolitan and rural settings. with working experience in NSW, Victoria, QLD, Tasmania and Western Australia. He is also bilingual, has extensive experience working with and looking after people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and understand the interaction between health and culture, specifically within immigrant communities.

Dr Elabbas has clinical interest is comprehensive geriatric assessment, assessing and optimising frailty, peri-operative medicine including pre-operative rehabilitation and postoperative enhance recovery. He is also passionate about clinical education and currently appointed as surveyor with The Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) and enrolled to complete Master of Clinical Education with the University of Flinders.
